Posting these photos, first of all, I would like to express my deepest thanks to the two Singaporean birders, Mr. Lee and his friend. They gave me and my friend a ride all the way from Hamstead Wetlands Park to Pasir Ris Park, where oriental pied hornbill used to appear, and Mr. Lee even guided us and found out the birds.
As oriental pied hornbill was one of the target species on our latest birding trip to Singapore, their kindness was so precious and rewarding. Walking along a long trail in hot and humid weather for many hours, we were almost burned out
for the day and chances were that we missed the bird. Thinking of this bird will always remind us of Singapore and the nice peoples living there, especially the two gentlmen.
